Roshan Joy Sequeira is an experienced mobile engineer with a strong background in iOS development. With over 8 years of experience, he has built and maintained apps with millions of downloads, working with leading media houses in the country on their signature apps. Roshan has also hired developers, built a team, and developed apps from scratch for one of his startup projects. He has taken on challenges, introducing Swift as a language for development and delivering apps in record time. Currently working as a Mobile Team Lead at Signeasy, Roshan is responsible for developing and delivering new iOS features on the launch day of new iOS versions for one of the company's well-known business apps. This app has been featured as App of the Day in more than 100 countries by Apple and is often featured by Apple on the App Store. He has also mentored junior developers and introduced new tools and technologies in development. Roshan has also tried his hands beyond iOS, working on the backend in his current company using Python. He has worked on IoT projects, deployed and made Alexa work on RaspberryPi as a side and exploratory project, and worked on Alexa custom skills deployed using AWS Lambda with code written in Golang. He has also built an attendance system using beacons (Estimote - Exploratory project). In addition to his technical expertise, Roshan has experience in project estimation, task distribution, app development, client interactions, and project delivery. He holds a Master's degree in Computer Applications from Manipal Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications from Mangalore University - Madhava Pai Memorial College.
